OUR TIMELINE
Urban Stays commenced operations in 2012 fundamentally as a consulting organisation in the tourism and hospitality industry, hotels and catering. The 2 directors have extensive experience in tourism, hospitality, construction, business management, engineering, social media and general management. Both directors have been involved at senior level in student accommodation and 3,4 and 5 star hotel operations.
In 2015 the company acquired it’s first accommodation property under management in Dickson in the ACT.

In 2016 the group launched its own highly successful local tour company and inbound tours operation, Blue Skies Adventure Tours. This was a highly successful venture targeting the mid range international adventure traveller with a number of attractive day tours, camping adventures and 7-10 day itineraries across Sydney, Canberra and the south coast. Due to the closure of international borders during the Covid-19 pandemic the business has been “mothballed”

Large Accommodation Facility, 80 cabins, powered sites, 4 seat function centre and 300 beds in group lodges.
Providence Park,

Kosciuszko National Park, Selwyn Snow Fields. Cabins, Lodges and sites in the snowfields on the doorstep of the Snowy Hydro 2 development.
Canberra Accommodation Centre
Consisting of 81 hotel rooms with shared facilities, long term and FIFO accommodation, student accommodation and serviced apartments. The facility has meeting rooms, conference space, onsite café and approx. 500 rooms in total.
